Russia: We Will Send 100 Person Search and Rescue Team to Turkey
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported that Il-76 aircraft and a search and rescue team of 100 people are ready to be sent to Turkey due to the earthquake.
In a written statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that upon the instruction of Russian Emergencies Minister Aleksandr Kurenkov, a 100-person search and rescue team was ready to be sent to Turkey.
In the statement, which was recorded that 2 Il-76 aircraft were prepared for this, Kurenkov’s evaluations were also included.
“The Ministry of Emergencies of Russia is always ready to help a friendly state whose citizens find themselves in a difficult situation,” Kurenkov said.
