Netflix fans started boycotting the streaming giant after Lockwood & Co was cancelled.
A second season of the popular supernatural detective series that captivated both critics and viewers when it aired in early 2023 will not arrive. Complete Fiction Pictures, the studio behind Lockwood & Co’s TV adaptation, confirmed on Twitter that the series has been cancelled.
What makes Lockwood & Co’s cancellation so dire is Netflix’s satisfaction with the series’ success. According to Variety’s sources, the series starring Ruby Stokes, based on Jonathan Stroud’s book series of the same name, “pleased” Netflix with the response from the audience and the effort put into making the series, but Variety, Lockwood & Co. reported. below expectations. and therefore it adds that it was cancelled.

Lockwood & Co’s first and only season has a 92% approved new critic rating and 94% viewer rating on review site Rotten Tomatoes.
Understandably, Lockwood & Co’s indefinite takedown has angered many Netflix users. Some were even so angry that another popular series on the world’s top streaming service was canceled and they started boycotting the platform.
