PlayStation 5 Pro Coming in 2024
A prominent journalist close to the industry said that the PlayStation 5 Pro is under development and that the console will be released in late 2024. A different model will come before.
Japanese technology giant Sony is reportedly working on PlayStation 5 Pro. According to sources from journalist Tom Henderson, the company will release the upgraded game console under development towards the end of 2024.
There is not much information about the PS5 Pro’s features yet. However, it is known that the company wants to improve ray tracing performance in games. Accordingly, we can expect the console to make a difference, just as it did in the transition from PS4 to PS4 Pro.
PS5 With Removable Drive On The Way
Henderson also emphasized that the PlayStation 5 Pro is not the model with a removable disk drive that has been rumored for a long time. According to the veteran journalist, Sony will launch a removable drive version of the PS5 this year.
Given this timeline, it seems highly unlikely that the PlayStation 6 will be released before 2028. Henderson also jokingly said that Microsoft is also working on an intermediate-generation console called “Xbox Series XXX”.
