  3. Hello

I came into Turkey on medical grounds.
My son was to have a BMT transplant with his brother as the bone marrow donor. We followed all the right procedures and when the hospital advised us that we may have to be in hospital for 100 days we were advised to apply for temporary residence. We did that before our visa expired and for months we did not get any response and I called 157 several times and visited the immigration office many times with all the challenges of a taking care of my child. We were only informed on the 21st of June that the system has rejected our application after 10 months. We have finally book to leave this month and we need to know if we have to pay penalty at the airport even though it is not our fault that we stayed without the temporary residence permit.
If we have to how much is the penalty for the 3 of us (one adult and 2 children)?

    Thank you
