Nothing Tech introduced the Ear 2 wireless headset. Compared to the Nothing Ear 1, which was introduced in June 2021, there is not much change in terms of design, but there are additions in the technical features section. Nothing Ear 2, which comes with features such as advanced ANC, LHDC support, and personalized sound profiles, will be on sale at a more affordable price than Apple AirPods Pro 2.
Nothing Ear 2 Features
Nothing Ear 2 supports the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which allows Hi-Res audio streaming. The headphones also have a new personalized sound profile that can be calibrated with a quick test via the Nothing X app. Equalizer settings can also be made with the application. Ear 2 also has active noise canceling feature that cuts unwanted sounds according to specific ear profile and environment.
Nothing has updated the 11.6mm drivers with a new diaphragm unit made of graphene and polyurethane material. In addition, the sound pick-up feature has also been improved, which provides better isolation of sound in noisy environments. Ear 2 also has dual pairing feature; Supports Google Fast Pair on Android phones.
In terms of battery life, Nothing Ear 2 lasts up to 36 hours with the charging case. The box, which has IP55 and IP54 certificates, can be charged with a USB-C cable or wirelessly (at 2.5w).

Nothing Ear (2) will go on sale with a price tag of $150. It will be available for purchase on Nothing’s official site and certain retail stores from March 28.
