New Trailer for the Second Season of Squid Game!
A new trailer has been released for the second season of Squid Game, one of Netflix’s popular productions. Thus, the plot of the new season is slowly becoming clear!
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the second season of Squid Game, which debuted earlier this year, and announced that it is working on a new season. Although the series has been silent for the last few months, this has now changed. Netflix recently shared a new trailer from the second season of Squid Game.
New Trailer from Squid Game Season Two: So When Will It Air?
The new trailer released by Netflix for the second season of Squid Game is about 50 seconds long and gives some clues about the plot of the series. In the video, we see Seong Gi-hun number 456, the winner of the game in the first season, returning to the games.
However, we don’t know what the real reason for Seong Gi-hun’s return to the games is at the moment. More information on the subject is expected to be revealed with new trailers to be released in the future. The second season of Squid Game will be released on Netflix on December 26th. It was also stated that the final season will come in 2025.
Apart from this, the previous teaser trailers shared about the production were as follows;
Judging by Seong Gi-hun’s determined and somewhat foreboding facial expressions, it looks like the gambling addict (and survivor of the show’s first season) is preparing to chase down those responsible for the “battle royale” style game. The teaser looks like the first scene we’ll see in season 2 of Squid Game.
It begins right after the finale of the previous season, in which Gi-hun refused to board an airplane that Squid Game’s in-universe creators wanted.
Indeed, in the season 1 finale, Gi-hun had a stern phone call with the people in charge of the games before hanging up the phone when they tried to force him to board the plane in question. In the first clip of season 2, Gi-hun is seen walking through an airport terminal after ending the call. However, when they call him back a few minutes later, he reconnects with the group.
When they threaten him, saying, “You will regret the choice you made,” Gi-hun responds ominously: “I’ll find you, no matter what it takes” and is seen hanging up the phone once more. It looks like he’s ready to go on a John Wick-style revenge quest. In addition, Squid Game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account also shared the first images of the second season.
