New Smartwatch from Oppo: Oppo Watch 4 With Round Display Could Be Coming!

A new leak has revealed that Oppo is working on a new smartwatch with a round display. Here are the details about the watch!

Oppo introduced the Oppo Watch 4 Pro in China last month. Like its predecessors, this smartwatch has a square dial. Now a leaker on X, using the account name MlgmXyysd, claims that a new Oppo smartwatch with a round display is coming.

The official marketing name of the device is unknown. It is therefore unclear whether this is the standard Oppo Watch 4 or the rumored Oppo Watch X, which is expected to launch alongside the Oppo Reno 11 series in November.

With the leak, the specs of the round screen smartwatch have also been revealed.


Features of the New Oppo Smartwatch with Round Display

According to the leak, the upcoming smartwatch with a round display has the model number OWW231 and the code name “Star”. Like the Watch 4 Pro, it will be equipped with a dual-chip system consisting of Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and BES 2700.

The leak also states that the device will come with dual buttons, crown, ECG, color AOD, fist clenching gestures, eSIM, ColorOS 14 Sound, blood oxygen monitor, stress, sleep, sport modes, health tracking, barometer, RTOS, WeChat & WeChat Pay and RTOS CJK fonts. The device will come with the ColorOS operating system developed specifically for Watch 6.0.

The smartwatch will be launched in China as well as the global market. While it is certain that the device will come with ColorOS operating system in China, it is thought that Wear OS operating system will be used in the global version. In addition, the device will have the OnePlus brand in the global market.
