New Intel Arc drivers shared: Performance improves
Intel, one of the leading names in the CPU market, continues its support for the Arc series. Today the chip giant has released the “4311” graphics driver, which includes significant performance improvements.
Intel, which is included in the desktop graphics card competition with the Arc Alchemist GPU family, has accelerated its work. In this context, the chip giant, which focuses on driver support, has made great progress. The company today released its new “4311” driver, which includes significant performance improvements. So what does the new driver bring with it? Let’s see together.
New Intel Arc drivers shared: Performance improves
With the current driver policy, Intel has started to offer support for new games similar to its competitors. In this context, the newly released “4311” driver significantly increases the performance of Arc A750 and Arc A770 GPUs. As for the driver details, we can say that the biggest performance increase is experienced in Dead Space Remake. Intel states that the new driver will offer a performance increase of up to 55 percent at 1080p settings and up to 63 percent at 2K resolution.
However, this improvement is most likely due to the previous driver not being optimized for Dead Space Remake. In addition, the chip giant has managed to make significant progress in many current productions, including F1 22, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Dirt 5 and Deathloop. Here is the detailed list:
Dead Space Remake (DX12)
Up to 55% boost in 1080p with Ultra settings on Arc A750
Up to 63% increase at 1440p with High settings on Arc A750
F1 22 (DX12)
Up to 6% increase at 1440p with High settings on Arc A770
Up to 7% increase at 1440p with High settings on Arc A750
Up to 17% increase in 1080p with Ultra High Ray Tracing settings on Arc A750
Dying Light 2 Stay Human (DX12)
Up to 6% boost in 1080p with preset High Ray Tracing settings on Arc A770
Up to 7% increase in 1440p with preset High Ray Tracing settings on Arc A770
Dirt 5 (DX12)
Up to 8% increase in 1080p with Ultra High Ray Tracing settings on Arc A750
Up to 4% increase at 1440p on Arc A750 with Ultra High Ray Tracing settings
Deathloop (DX12)
Up to 4% increase in 1080p with Very High and Ray Tracing Performance settings on Arc A750
Up to 6% increase at 1440p with Very High and Ray Tracing Performance settings on Arc A750
In addition to Dead Space, we can say that the new driver shows a performance increase of 4 to 17 percent in other games. Also, interestingly, Intel states that most of these productions have been tested with ray tracing. As you know, Intel’s new graphics cards Arc A750 and A770 entered the market with an aggressive pricing, including in our country.
At this point, we can say that the Arc A750, priced at $ 249, became a tight competitor to the RTX 3060, which was sold for $ 388. Although there is a VRAM difference between the two graphics cards, the performance increase is pretty close. Intel claims that the Arc series offers up to 10 percent more performance and 72 percent more performance per dollar in games like Total War Warhammer III.
