New Feature of Google Contacts is on the Way: No More Forgetting Birthdays!
Adding birthdays to Google’s Contacts app. In this way, you will now be able to receive extra notifications on birthdays. Details are here!
As we’ve been tracking since March, Google Contacts now offers highly anticipated birthday notifications and encourages users to add this information.
If your device has birthday notifications, when you open the Highlights tab in Google Contacts, an “Add birthdays” card will appear for You under “Save your contacts’ birthdays to see them on your birthday calendar and get helpful tips.”
Feature Not Public For Now
Tapping “Add birthdays” takes you to a list UI optimized for quick, batch date entry. A pie icon appears next to people who don’t have a birthday, and you can add this information by swiping between month, day, and year.
The new feature is not publicly available as it is currently in version 4.7.26.x.
