NASA Will Go To The Moon With This Spacesuit
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) introduced the prototype of the spacesuits to be used in the Artemis 3 mission, which is planned to be took place in 2025 and has the title of “return to the Moon”.
It took six months to prepare the prototype, after Texas-based Axiom Space company received the design tender for $228 million last year. Stitching was used at the junction points of the new design to increase their mobility by providing more flexibility to the astronauts. In addition, there is lighting and a high-resolution camera inside the helmet so that the work of the astronauts on the surface of the Moon can be monitored from Earth. Work within the scope of spacesuit development projects, with a total budget of 1 billion dollars, will be carried out at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
