Museums Will Be Free Tomorrow
On May 18, International Museum Day, all museums affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will be free of charge tomorrow.
International Museum Day has been celebrated worldwide since 1977 and in Turkey since 1982.
The aim is to increase interest in museums and bring them into social life.
All museums and archaeological sites affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will be free of charge tomorrow.
In Istanbul, the Maiden’s Tower, Galata Tower, Archaeology Museums and museums affiliated to the ministry will welcome visitors free of charge.
