The most downloaded applications and games in the App Store and Google Play Store were announced.
The global economic problems experienced in 2022 also affected the mobile application market. Last year, consumer spending on apps fell 2% to $167 billion.
Despite this, downloads showed a positive trend, increasing by 11 percent compared to the previous year.
According to application intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the most downloaded applications and games last year have been revealed.

Social media apps continue to be extremely competitive. Instagram has remained among the top three apps for the last seven quarters since Q2 2021 and was the number one app worldwide in Q4 2022.
TikTok and Facebook followed Instagram as the #2 and #3 apps worldwide, respectively.

While overall global downloads of top mobile games dropped from quarter to quarter, events like the World Cup helped boost downloads of football games.
