Turkey was shaken by two major earthquakes that struck Kahramanmaraş on Monday, 6 February. The first earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred at around 04:17 in Pazarcık district. After this 7.7 magnitude earthquake, another earthquake occurred at 13.24. The magnitude of the earthquake, the epicenter of which was in the district of Elbistan, was recorded as 7.6.

Dönmez was rescued and taken to the hospital.

Naide Umay, who was under the rubble in Hatay, which was hit by the earthquake, was taken out alive at the 175th hour of the earthquake.

Naide Umar, who was pulled out of the wreckage, was taken to the hospital by an ambulance by the search and rescue teams.

IT WAS UNLOCKED AT 170 HOURS

Sibel Kaya, 40, who was under the rubble of the collapsed building in Gaziantep, was rescued after 170 hours.

Search and rescue teams affiliated to AFAD, Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers, Güngören Municipality and Turkish Hard Coal Institution reached the ground floor of the destroyed 5-storey Zamanlar Apartment Building.

Fighting for life against time, the teams rescued Sibel Kaya, which they reached, 170 hours after the wreckage.

Kaya, who was taken to the ambulance, was taken to the hospital.

RETURNED AT 166 HOURS

The search and rescue teams within the body of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Directorate, which continue their search and rescue efforts in the Besni district of Adıyaman, started a study for a person who was determined to be alive during the scan made with the heat meter device.

After hours of work, 60-year-old Erengül Önder was pulled out of the rubble 166 hours after the earthquake.
