In the Bosphorus, a mine noticed by a citizen off Sarıyer Kireçburnu was removed by divers.
The person who dived in the throat to collect mussels in the morning hours on Kireçburnu Beach made a report claiming that he saw an object resembling a mine underwater.
The police, who came to the beach upon the notice, took security measures in the surrounding area.
Diving teams affiliated to the Coast Guard Command, which were sent to the region, searched the Bosphorus.
As a result of the search, an unexploded old mine was found in the strait. The mine, which was pulled out of the water by divers, was taken away for examination and then destruction.
The moments when the sea was searched and the mine was removed were recorded with a mobile phone camera.
