Military Helicopter Forced Landing Due To Oil Leak

The UH-1 type helicopter belonging to the Army Aviation School Command, which took off from Isparta, made an emergency landing on the edge of Lake Burdur due to an oil leak. It was reported that no one was injured among the 5 crew members on board the helicopter during the landing, while evacuation efforts continued from the helicopter.

The UH-1 type helicopter of the Army Aviation School Command, which took off from Isparta, made an emergency landing 2 kilometers south of Ardıçlı Village in Keçiborlu district of Isparta, near the shoreline of Burdur Lake due to oil leakage.

Security measures were taken around the landing helicopter in a short time.

Technical and gendarmerie teams arrived and intervened the helicopter, which made a forced landing due to a malfunction, on the land near the lake. It is learned that 5 personnel on board the helicopter were not injured and there was no damage to the helicopter.

It is reported that the personnel were evacuated from the helicopter, while the evacuation of the helicopter is still in progress.
