The camera headset project developed by Meta will be an important step in the company’s efforts to spread the concept of artificial intelligence to more users.
Meta, which has invested tens of billions of dollars in metaverse projects for years, unfortunately could not see the benefit it expected. Moreover, it is far behind the artificial intelligence trend. To catch up, the company is launching an interesting product after Ray-Ban glasses.
Camerabuds are coming
Meta, which has channeled itself into AI, is preparing to introduce a device called Camerabuds in the near future. Designed as a TWS or over-ear headset, both parts of the project have outward-facing cameras.
This device will be connected to artificial intelligence algorithms and will make different suggestions to the user based on the components of the external environment. The team is working on issues such as battery life, users with long hair and user privacy.
It is not yet known for what purpose the Camerabuds project will be used and which departments of the company will be integrated. There will probably be a constant interaction with a ChatGPT-style assistant. The company does not provide information about the project for now.
