World-famous singer Maher Zain came to Kahramanmaraş and distributed food to earthquake victims.
Swedish singer Maher Zain shared on his social media account the aid made for Turkey after the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and caused heavy damage in 10 provinces. After the posts, the singer went to Kahramanmaraş and got together with the teams and distributed food to the earthquake victims.
Earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6, which occurred in the epicenter of Kahramanmaraş on February 6, caused destruction in 10 provinces. After the earthquakes in which thousands of our citizens lost their lives, a state of emergency was declared in 10 provinces for 3 months. World-famous names could not remain silent about the earthquakes that caused great destruction in Turkey. Calling for help for our country, Swedish singer of Lebanese origin Maher Zain came to Turkey and participated in aid activities for earthquake victims.
MEAL DISTRIBUTED TO EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
The Muslim singer, who has been calling for support to Turkey almost every day since the first day of the earthquake, distributed food in the region with the UK-based “Salam Charity” aid organization. The famous artist, who shared images of his charity work on his social media accounts, said, “We came to Kahramanmaraş, one of the cities most affected by the earthquake. I am trying to convey the destruction here, but it is impossible for me to show it to the camera. We do small things here, but I think it is very necessary. For your support. Thank you all. Thank you. Thanks to you, we are able to provide this help.”

Noting that they were in the city center and many buildings were destroyed, Zain said, “This is the epicenter of the great earthquake. Hundreds of thousands of people were left homeless. We must help as much as we can.” Positive comments and support messages from different parts of the world drew attention to the posts of the artist, who previously supported donation campaigns on his social media account.
