One of the first points that come to mind when Izmir is mentioned is Kordon, which has even been the subject of songs. The Atatürk Museum in Kordon is also one of the must-visit places in this region. The museum building on 1 Kordon Atatürk Street in İzmir is one of the most beautiful examples of the 19th century Neoclassical form. This building, which Mustafa Kemal Atatürk used as the house where he stayed when he visited the city between 1930 and 1934, still welcomes visitors in all its glory today.
Kordon is located in the province of İzmir. You can easily reach the Izmir coastline by bus number 163 from Izmir bus station. If you want to reach the region by subway, you can get off at Alsancak stop and connect to the cord from there. Subway passes from Izmir airport.
