iTunes will no longer be on iOS: Here is the New Address!
iTunes Movie Trailers is fulfilling its promise by failing to adapt to Apple’s modern web design. Where will the new address of the application be? Here are the details!
The iTunes Movie Trailers application, first released in 2011, was designed for iPhone and iPad users. The app allowed easy access to a collection of film trailers from the company’s library.
However, 12 years have passed since the first day the application was released. Naturally, many things have changed at Apple in these years. Everything has become more modern and more technological. iTunes Movie Trailers, on the other hand, has lagged behind in keeping up with these innovations.
New Address of iTunes Movie Trailers
Apple will change the fate of the application, which has not been updated for about five years, with its new strategy. Accordingly; the new address of the application will be Apple TV. People will now be able to follow film trailers and previews on Apple TV.
Although there is no official announcement about the application switching to Apple TV, both platforms show a phrase as “iTunes Movie Trailers’ new address Apple TV application”. This is also evident from the fact that a new section of the Apple TV app has been created to show the latest trailers.
While some of the features of the old app will be retained, the Apple TV version is expected to be much more contemporary and up-to-date. Apple’s goal of collecting and unifying all video content under a single roof has been interpreted as ‘it wants to gradually remove the iTunes brand’.
The iTunes Movie Trailers application will be reshaped within Apple TV in a much more comprehensive way than before. Changing the address of the application and switching it to Apple TV will perhaps be a good step for users to access trailers more easily.
