“NOT RELIGIOUS”

In the decision shared by Karaağız Aid Association President Hayri Sönmez on social media, the following statements were made: “Invitations such as writing, socks and shirts are prohibited in our village weddings, circumcision societies, except for invitation cards. It has been concluded that it is not appropriate to play it in terms of our religion and upon the complaints from the village people.

It has been deemed appropriate for our women to organize a special entertainment for women on Saturdays at a time determined by the wedding host. Village people are kindly requested to comply. The decisions taken are effective as of January 1, 2024.
