Istanbul won the ‘Best 15 Cities in Europe’ awards
Readers of the New York-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure voted for this year’s awards for the “World’s Best” book. Within the scope of the program, the most popular airlines, airports, hotels, tour operators and cities were voted.
For the city awards, readers voted on “tourist attractions, landmarks, culture, food, friendliness, shopping and value” categories.
The Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus are the most popular tourist destinations
Istanbul was ranked first in the “Top 15 Cities in Europe” with an average of “90.23” in this list.
Readers who left comments such as “A very beautiful city with so many options”, “Suitable for all budgets”, also cited the Bazaar, the Blue Mosque Closed and the Bosphorus among the most popular tourist destinations.
The “Four Seasons” hotel in Istanbul was also selected as the “Best Hotel in the World”, which was not fully received by the readers.
Following Istanbul, the following cities were included in the list, respectively:
“Florence, Rome, Lisbon, Porto, Seville, Lebanese, San Sebastian, Prague, Barcelona, Salzburg, Edinburgh, Madrid, Bordeaux, Vienna.”
