Istanbul will not see the sun for days!

Meteorology sources announced an emergency for Istanbul and other provinces. Istanbul will not see the sun for 4 days. While waiting for spring in May, a code yellow alert was issued for 15 cities. Hail, showers and thunderstorms are expected across the country, including Istanbul. It is on its way; it will fall from the hills on that date. Here is the ‘oraj’ warning shared by Weather Forum.

According to the latest assessments, it is predicted that the country will be partly partly cloudy to partly very cloudy, with showers and thundershowers in the north and east of Marmara, Central Aegean, Taurus Mountains of Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep and Kilis regions.

Precipitation is expected to be strong with local hail in Çankırı, Kırıkkale, Yozgat, Kırşehir and eastern parts of Ankara in the afternoon. Dust transportation is expected across the region. Dust transportation is expected in southern and inland areas.

According to the forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, temperatures will be above seasonal norms in the southern and eastern regions and around seasonal norms in other regions.

The wind is expected to blow generally from northerly directions, light to moderate from southerly directions in southern and eastern parts, and strong from north and northeasterly directions in the west of Marmara and North Aegean coasts.
