Israeli Press: US sent 230 airplanes and 20 shiploads of weapons to Israel

The United States has reportedly sent 20 ships and 230 aircraft loaded with weapons to Israel since the attacks on Gaza began on October 7. An Israeli official said that some of these weapons were being stored to prepare for a large-scale war against Hezbollah.

The extent of US military aid to Israel since the attacks on Gaza began on October 7 has been revealed.

Israel’s Yediot Ahronot newspaper gave information about the weapons sent by the US and the content of these weapons.

According to the report, the US has sent 230 airplanes and 20 shiploads of weapons to Israel so far. These weapons included artillery shells, armored vehicles and basic combat equipment for soldiers.

The article, citing a senior official from the Israeli Defense Ministry, provided information on how the munitions are used.

According to the official, the Israeli army used most of the ammunition it had before the war, while filling its warehouses to prepare for a large-scale war against Hezbollah.

The report noted that the Israeli army did not touch the ammunition allocated for offensive and air defense on the Lebanese front.

The report pointed out that the “threat in Gaza” was greater than Tel Aviv had expected, noting that the number of Israeli soldiers killed and wounded in the fighting was so high that it raised questions about the scope and power of the weapons used to facilitate the soldiers’ activities in dangerous areas.
