Israeli Airstrike Kills Another Journalist In Gaza
Another journalist was killed in the Israeli airstrikes on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, Israeli warplanes attacked the house of Palestinian journalist Mohammed Balousseh in al-Saftawi area in the northern part of Gaza City.
It was reported that Balousseh, a reporter for the “Palestine al-Yawm” channel, was killed and many others were wounded in the attack.
The number of journalists killed in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 13.
Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
On the morning of October 7, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, launched a comprehensive attack on Israel under the name “Aqsa Flood”.
While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel, Palestinian armed groups stormed the Beit Hanoun-Erez border crossing on the Gaza-Israel border and seized it.
The armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel, and the Israeli army launched attacks on the Gaza Strip with dozens of warplanes.
It was reported that 1400 Israelis, 299 of whom were soldiers, were killed and 3,968 Israelis were wounded in the attacks organized from Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 2,778 Palestinians lost their lives and more than 10 thousand people were injured in Gaza during the Israeli attacks.
In the occupied West Bank, it was stated that 61 Palestinians were killed and approximately 1250 people were injured in the attacks of Israeli forces and Jewish settlers.
