Iran: Misunderstandings With Azerbaijan Disappeared

Iranian Parliament Speaker Muhammed Bakir Kalibaf said that there have been some misunderstandings between his country and Azerbaijan recently, but these problems have disappeared as a result of the talks between the two countries. According to the news of Iran’s semi-official Tesnim News Agency, Kalibaf returned to his country after the 13th General Assembly of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) held in Antalya and made statements to the press at the airport regarding his contacts in Turkey.

Describing his visit to Turkey as “intensive and productive”, Kalibaf said that during the tripartite meeting between Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey parliamentarians, energy transportation and transit transit issues between the three countries were discussed.
