Hogwarts Legacy Old Edition Postponed To May 5

Hogwarts Legacy debuted as an action role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe, with an open world to explore and a character generator you can use to choose your own name, gender, voice and appearance. The game, which reached record sales figures with its release, had a more successful debut than Elden Ring, which won the game of the year award last year.

The developers state in the announcement that they are “working hard to deliver the best possible experience across all platforms,” but that they “need more time to do so.” They haven’t explained what they mean by that, and they’re basically repeating what they said when they announced that the game won’t be coming out for older consoles in February. The developers didn’t mention anything extra about the Switch either, so this version is also scheduled to launch on July 25.
