Heavy fog warning from Meteorology for 5 provinces: Pay attention especially in the evening and morning hours

Meteorology warned of dense fog for 5 provinces in the Aegean. The dense fog, which is expected to increase its effect starting from the evening hours today, is expected to last until noon on December 31st.

Meteorology 2nd Regional Directorate Forecasting and Early Warning Center announced that foggy weather will be effective in Izmir, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Manisa and Aydın.

It was stated that dense fog will be effective especially in the night and morning hours in a 3-day period.
Fog is expected to be effective in the inner and northern parts of Çanakkale, around the Dardanelles, in the inner and northern parts of Balıkesir, in the center and surroundings of Manisa, in the southern and inner parts of İzmir, and in the western parts of Aydın.

It is stated that the fog, which is expected to be prolonged and dense, may cause disruptions in land, air and sea transportation due to decreased air quality and low visibility.
