Marek Fecko, 47, heard strange noises from the baby monitor while at work. Unable to see the footage, the man realized that his wife was having an affair with another man. The woman turned her baby monitor’s camera to the wall, but forgot to turn the sound off.

Frustrated by the situation, Marek Fecko hurried home to confront his wife. Fecko, who succumbed to his anger, threatened the man who had locked him in his car in a panic with a knife. The unnamed man filed a complaint against Fecko.
The husband, who went home upon the sounds coming from the baby monitor, was devastated by what he saw.

Appearing before the Carlisle Royal Court, Fecko admitted that he had been fighting in a public place and was in possession of a knife without reasonable excuse. Distraught upon learning of his five-month affair, Marek Fecko was sentenced to 120 hours of unpaid work and 18 months in prison. He was also prohibited from approaching the victim for a year after the attack.
