American actor Chris Evans, who brought Captain America to life, was named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine this year.
People magazine’s election result was announced on Stephen Colbert’s nightly show and on the magazine’s website. Having played Captain America in Marvel’s sprawling superhero films for nearly a decade, Evans took the title from another “Avenger”, Paul Rudd.
“MOM WILL BE VERY HAPPY”
“My mom will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I’ve done, but it’s something she can really brag about,” Chris Evans said in an interview about being featured on the cover of the magazine’s latest issue.
“I CAN FACE HARASSMENT”
The handsome actor also thinks that he will be the subject of jokes by his close friends. “Really it’s just going to be a bullying spot, I could face harassment,” the famous actress joked in an interview.
“I ESTABLISHED WORK-LIFE BALANCE”
People magazine interviewed Evans, 41, at a farmhouse in Georgia. Stating that he has found a good work-life balance, the actor said, “The most enjoyable part of my career right now is feeling safe enough to take my foot off the gas.”
The actress told People magazine that she is considering getting married and starting a family, adding, “This is something I definitely want.” Still, she said she didn’t expect to talk about her private life publicly, adding: “Some things you only want for yourself or just for my family and friends.”
