Half Life 2 RTX project announced
For those who don’t know, Half life 2 RTX will be the second game of Valve library that has been renewed with NVIDIA RTX technology. The first of these was Portal RTX, the cornerstone in the showcase of Nvidia technologies, including the upcoming DLSS 3.5. We’ve seen RTX Remix used in Half Life 2 before. However, it should be noted that the new mode has been officially introduced.
When we look at the shared video, we can say that Half Life 2, renewed with RTX Remix, has almost modern graphics. So much so that high-quality textures, detailed models and eye-catching lighting have been achieved. It also offers support for all current technologies, including DLSS 3.0 and Nvidia Reflex.
It’s worth noting that Half Life 2 RTX is still a work in progress and has no official release date. At this point, the team behind the production continues to seek new members to speed up the process. Therefore, let me state that it will not be available in the near future. However, there are various rumors that a demo will be released.
