Hagia Sophia Mosque Will Be Paid

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said, “We are implementing a visitor management plan in Hagia Sophia-i Kebîr Câmi-i Şerifi as of January 15, 2024 upon the recommendation of Unesco. The quality of visitation and worship in Hagia Sophia-i Kebîr Câmi-i Şerifi will be increased. As of January 15, foreign visitors will be charged. Turkish citizens who come to perform their worship will not be charged.”
