Google Messages is Getting a New iPhone Feature!
Google Messages’ new feature, which is currently in the testing phase, reminded those who saw it of the system on the iPhone. So which feature does this evoke? Here are the details!
Google may be working on bringing another new iPhone feature to Android phones. As is well known, on iPhone, when you receive a call or text from an unrecognized and unregistered number, it still shows who that person is on the screen and in the notification.
For this feature to work, of course, the caller or texter must also be using an iPhone and have an Apple ID. It is now reported that work has started to bring this feature to Google Messages.
Who the Unknown Number Belongs to Will Be Visible
Android Authority has been exploring the new beta version of Google Messages, and to test this new feature, Android Authority tested how notifications from an unregistered number look.
As seen in the screenshot, the name and surname of the people who send messages can be seen even directly in the notifications section if their Google profile is enabled and they have turned on profile discovery.
It seems to be a very useful feature, especially for those who do not like receiving messages from unknown numbers. You will no longer need to spend extra time to find out who the unknown number belongs to.
There is no information that this feature, which is tested and available in the beta version, will be added to Google Messages later. It is also possible that it will be completely canceled after the test phase.
