Google Makes Learning English Easier: “Conversation Practice” Feature on the Way!
Google is preparing to launch a new “Conversation Practice” feature that will make learning English easier than ever.
If you find it difficult to practice speaking English without being face-to-face, Google, through Search Labs, is preparing to bring a brand new solution to this problem.
This new development uses generative AI to help you improve your English speaking skills through a new conversational practice feature.
How to Use the New Conversation Practice Feature
To access this new feature called Speaking Practice, users must first enable Search Labs in the Google Search app settings.
After enabling it, you can find the Speaking Practice feature by clicking on the “Try an example” option within the feature. Alternatively, you can access the feature by translating to or from English using Google Search on your Android device.
Speech Practice is currently being tested in Argentina, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Venezuela and Indonesia. Google is expected to roll out the feature in all regions very soon. Finally, Google notes that generative AI is still under development, so the quality and availability of the feature may vary.
