God of War: Ragnarök is Coming to PC, Release Date Announced!

God of War: Ragnarök is coming to PC. Sony announced the release date of its highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive game for PC. Details are here!

Sony, which once made PlayStation a center of attraction by keeping the games it developed exclusively for the console, abandoned this strategy a while ago. Nowadays, the company has slowly started to add all its games to the PC, albeit with a slight delay. In this regard, the last game announced for PC was God of War: Ragnarök.

Making new announcements at the Sony State of Play event held on May 31, Sony announced the PC release date for God of War: Ragnarök, in addition to the new games announced for PlayStation. Here are the details…

When will God of War: Ragnarök be released on PC?

Sony, which has been announcing its new announcements at State of Play events instead of events such as E3 for a while, has dropped the bombshell again. It has been announced that God of War: Ragnarök, which was released for PlayStation 4 and 5 in November 2022, will come to PC. Accordingly, the game, which tells the adventures of Kratos and Atreus, will come to the PC platform on September 19, 2024.

This means that the “special game” solutions that lasted about two years will no longer exist. Of course, since there is no console performance limitation, this version will come with advantages such as higher files and no FPS limit.

Ragnarök is Coming to PC

Unfortunately, no Steam or Epic Games page has been opened for God of War: Ragnarök yet. Therefore, details such as price and system details remain unclear. However, it is possible to say that we will soon find out that we are not far from the release date of September 19. It was also announced what the game will be on PSN.

The previous game of the series was released exclusively for PlayStation in 2018 and was entitled to be the “Game of the Year” with its playable gameplay mechanics, story and atmosphere. It later released for PC in January 2022.Of course, although this situation angers some console players, it is possible to say that most people are pleased with the wider accessibility. Unfortunately, among the current platforms, Xbox is the only platform that cannot access PlayStation exclusive games.
