Gamescom 2023 Fair Starts in August!

Gamescom, known as the world’s largest computer and video game fair, opens to visitors in August. Here are the details!

This year’s Gamescom, which will showcase products from 60 different countries, will be the largest Gamescom ever held. The show will feature a 300-seat theatre built specifically for the Xbox stand. Games will be exhibited in the fair, which has increased by 10,000 square metres compared to 2022, reaching a total of 230,000 square metres.

As it does every year, Gamescom will showcase demos and previews of upcoming games through both in-person and live-streamed events. The 2023 show will take place between 23-27 August. On 23 August, the show will be open for trade visitors and media only. From 24 August, it will be open to the general public.

What awaits us at this year’s fair?

Gamescom 2023 will take place at Koelnmesse, the international trade fair and exhibition centre in Cologne, Germany.

Xbox, which will present one of the biggest stands at the Gamescom fair this year, was very curious about which games to exhibit. Xbox’s booth will consist of 30 new games and 150 gaming stations. The brand’s booth will feature games such as Forza Motorsport, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Towerborne developed by GSC Game World.

Apart from Xbox, many famous companies and important game developers will take part in the fair. Some of these will be names such as Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, Devolver Digital, Nexon, SEGA, Amazon Games.

As you know, live broadcasts are made every year for those who cannot attend the fair. The 2023 opening night live broadcast will start on the evening of 22 August. The ticket price of the live broadcast will be 29,00 Euros.
