Galaxy Z Fold 5 Will Be Samsung’s Thinnest Folding Phone
Samsung is expected to introduce new folding phones towards the end of July. Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be one of the brand’s new folding smartphones. So, how thin will the Z Fold 5 be?
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 on August 10, but the company is expected to introduce new folding screen phones a little earlier this year. New information continues to come about the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which will take the stage at the Unpacked event between 25 – 27 July in the last week of July. Finally, it was revealed how thin and light the phone will be.
Very little will be thin, short and light
According to trusted sources Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will measure 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.4mm when folded and 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3mm when unfolded. If we compare it to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 model, it will be 0.2mm thinner, narrower and shorter when unfolded. In terms of weight, it will be 9 g lighter than the Z Fold 4, with a weight of 254 g.
Comes with new hinge design
Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a new waterdrop hinge. The new design will prevent the phone from being completely folded flat. The phone will be both thinner and more resistant to dust. Perhaps the only criticism of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be the S Pen slot. The built-in slot for the S Pen is expected to remain on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 model.
