Forza Motorsport Can Also Be Played by the Visually Impaired

Xbox’s highly anticipated racing game Forza Motorsport stands out with its accessibility options. Developer Turn 10 Studios showed off features in the game that will help people with disabilities.

Forza Motorsport, the highly anticipated new game of Xbox Game Studios, will offer an interesting racing experience. The game, which is expected to be released before the end of the year, will attract attention with its accessibility options.

Many Options Will Be Offered For The Visually Impaired

The developer of the production, Turn 10 Studios, revealed the accessibility options that Forza Motorsport will offer with its newly released video. Working with visually impaired players such as Brandon Cole for two years, Turn 10 introduced the feature called “Blind Driving Assists”. With this option, the visually impaired will be able to understand a lot of information with auditory feedback during the race and will be able to make different maneuvers in the game accordingly. In addition, the accessibility options offered for the visually impaired can be changed in different ways from the game’s settings.

In the video showing the feature and detailing its development, Cole states that the option throws engine noise and tire noises to the left or right depending on the direction players need to turn. The beeps tell players that they are approaching the edge of the track. Cole says that with the help of hints, he was able to win a race against a bunch of AI-driven cars. Forza Motorsport, which will also offer accessibility options such as color blindness, will be released for Xbox Series, Xbox Cloud and PC before the end of the year.
