The broadcaster of Formula 1, which is followed with great interest all over the world, has been announced in Turkey. So where can it be watched? Here are the details!
Formula 1 can now also be watched on Turkish TV. beIN Media Group, the sports and media channel, has acquired the rights to the Formula 1 World Championship until 2033.
beIN Sports covers broadcast rights not only for Turkey but also for 25 other countries in the Middle East and North Africa regions. These include practice laps, sprint races, Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Supercap.
What are the Comments on this Deal?
Yousef Al-Obaidly, Chief Executive of Digiturk and beIN Media Group, added the following about the deal:
“Formula 1 is one of the most important parts of our extraordinary portfolio. We look forward to creating exciting Formula 1 experiences for millions of sports fans, as well as enabling a new generation through compelling content and innovative broadcasting.
Stefano Domenicali, President and Chief Executive Officer of Formula 1, also noted that since 2004 there has been an increase in the number of fans interested in racing in the Middle East.
With this agreement, beIN has become the broadcaster of Formula 1 in 35 countries.
