Flash News! Sweden Lifts Turkey Embargo!

The Swedish State Arms Export Control Agency (ISP) announced that they have lifted the arms export embargo to Turkey.
After the Russian-Ukrainian war, Sweden and Finland applied for NATO membership. Turkey stated that it would veto the membership of these two countries because of its support for terrorism. In Madrid, the capital of Spain, the two countries sat at the table with Turkey and promised that they would fulfill all of Turkey’s demands. This triple agreement was reflected in the world press as ‘Turkey’s victory’. After these developments, another step came from Sweden.

Sweden announced that it allowed the export of military equipment to Turkey. Thus, Sweden can export products affected by the Arms Export Law to Turkey.

Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde announced on Wednesday that a delegation would come to Turkey next week for NATO membership talks.
