Fire in Ciragan Palace!
A fire broke out on the fourth floor of the 5-storey Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, located on Çırağan Street, on Friday, December 9 at 11.15 am during the renovation works.
FIRE EXTINGUISHED
The fire, which broke out in the hotel with dense smoke, was extinguished after about 1 hour of intervention.Traffic stopped on Çırağan Street due to the fire. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
INTERVENTION WITH 20 VEHICLES
20 vehicles of Beyoğlu, İstinye, Şişli and Beşiktaş firefighters intervened in the fire, in which smoke rose from the balconies. The teams continued their extinguishing efforts by going to the roof of the hotel with a ladder vehicle.
NO LOSS OF LIVES
According to the information received; No casualties were reported.
It was reported that the fire started in the repaired part.
3 WORKERS HOSPİTALİZED
It was stated that there was a renovation on the floor where the fire broke out, and the workers stayed on the upper floor. Three workers affected by the smoke were taken to the hospital by ambulance. After the fire, some people staying at the hotel took their luggage and left the area.
