Fire Broke Out In Lake Eber Again
A fire broke out again in Lake Eber, which came to the fore with frequent fires last year. Smoke was seen from kilometers away in the fire that broke out in the borders of Çay and Bolvadin districts of Afyonkarahisar. Straw collected from the region and exported as roof insulation material was damaged in the fire.
In the fire that broke out in the Çay and Bolvadin districts of Afyonkarahisar, the smoke came from miles away. Firefighters from Sultandağı, Bolvadin and Çay districts intervened in the fire, which spread over a wide area with the effect of the wind.
TAKING CONTROL AFTER WORK
While the flames and smoke rising from the lake could be seen from miles away, the fire was brought under control hours later as a result of intense efforts. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
