Cevizdibi Canyon in Samsun’s Yakakent district is not allowed to be entered except for professionals on security grounds.

Cevizdibi Canyon, located within the borders of Asmapınar Neighbourhood, has attracted the attention of citizens due to the images shared on social media in recent years.

Asking citizens to be sensitive in this regard, Kılıç said, “In these months, in order to ensure the safety of our citizens and to fight forest fires, there is a ban on entering this area except for non-professional athletes and other people. We ask our citizens to be sensitive at this point and not to jeopardise their own life safety and the life safety of their friends and families. Cevizdibi Canyon will be open to all of our citizens after the necessary arrangements are made in the future.”
