The report cites county title deeds and other land records, as well as city and county emails, internal communications, state license records, and conversations with landowners and city and county officials.

Over the years, tech companies have offered numerous opportunities on campus to recruit employees and sometimes encourage them to work longer hours. Musk can take this approach even further by establishing a company city of his own.
