Elon Musk Is The “Richest Man In The World” Again
US businessman Elon Musk has regained the title of "richest person in the world", a title he lost in April to Bernard Arnault, chairman of luxury goods group LVMH, which includes the Louis Vuitton brand.
According to United Press International (UPI), Musk, who handed over his seat to Arnault in April, returned to the top of the “world’s richest” list with the fall of LVMH’s shares.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index’s “500 richest people in the world” list, Musk, the owner of Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX, topped the list with an estimated net worth of $ 192 billion.
French businessman Arnault, who surpassed Musk in the April ranking with a fortune of 211 billion dollars and became the richest in the world, saw his fortune fall to 187 billion dollars with the depreciation of LVHM company shares.
While LVMH’s share value has lost 10 percent in the last month, it is stated that Arnault’s wealth has decreased by 11 billion dollars in one day.
In the list of the “richest people in the world”, Jeff Bezos, the owner of Amazon, ranked 3rd with a fortune of 144 billion dollars and Bill Gates, the owner of Microsoft, ranked 4th with 125 billion dollars.
