Twitter owner and Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the new artificial intelligence company xAI.
Musk tweeted on Wednesday, “I’m announcing that @xAI was founded to understand the truth.” aforementioned. The x AI website adds that the company’s aim is to “understand the true nature of the universe.”
The x AI account was tweeted only once and asked the following question: “What are the most fundamental unanswered questions?”
Who Works at xAI?
It has been announced that a team of 12 people, including Musk, is working for x AI. This team says they have experience in OpenAI, DeepMind, Google Research, Microsoft Research and Tesla.
The x AI team will host a Twitter Spaces chat on Friday, July 14, where they can talk about exactly what the company will do.
The announcement comes after Musk applied to start an artificial intelligence company after reports earlier this year that he was planning to create a ChatGPT competitor.
