Dua Lipa is Now A Citizen of Albania
Famous singer Dua Lipa, who comes from a family of Kosovar and Albanian descent, received Albanian citizenship.
British singer Dua Lipa (26) received Albanian citizenship.
Born in London after her Kosovar and Albanian family immigrated to England due to the war, Lipa became one of Albania’s national heroes with respect to her roots.
A citizenship ceremony was held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, for three Grammy-winning singers.
Recently, world-famous pop star Dua Lipa denied the allegations that she would take the stage at the World Cup events to be held in Qatar.
The 27-year-old singer said in a post on her Instagram account that she can only go to Qatar if human rights conditions improve.

“I’m not going to have a performance like this, and I’ve never sat there to perform,” Lipa said in a statement. “I will support the UK from afar,” said Lipa. I’m excited to go to Qatar when it fulfills its human rights promises and wins the right to host the World Cup.”
