Downpour warning for 5 provinces
General Directorate of Meteorology announced the 5-day weather forecast report. In the evaluation made, downpour warnings were made for 5 provinces. It was stated that the air temperature will be below seasonal normals in the northern, central and eastern regions.
According to the warning issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, short-term and local strong thundershowers are expected around Ağrı, Iğdır and Kars, southeast of Erzurum and northern parts of Van.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TODAY?
It is predicted to be partly partly cloudy to mostly cloudy across the country, with local showers and thundershowers in the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, eastern Anatolia, Tokat, Bingöl, Mardin, Siirt and Batman surroundings, northern districts of Amasya and southern districts of Şanlıurfa, the Taurus Mountains of the Eastern Mediterranean, Mersin, south of Adana and western parts of Hatay.
