Death Toll Rises To 44 In Severe Flooding In Philippines
The number of people who lost their lives in the floods that occurred after heavy rains in the Philippines rose to 44.
In the statement made by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Board, it was reported that 44 people lost their lives, 12 people were injured, and search and rescue efforts continued for 28 people.
34 CITIES AFFECTED
It was stated that 34 provinces and at least 10 regions of the country were affected by the floods caused by heavy rains in the Philippines. In the statement, it was shared that more than 509 thousand 349 people were affected by the flood and 56 thousand 807 people continued to stay in temporary shelters. The Philippines is one of the countries most affected by natural disasters.
