Dead Bodies Found in Collapsed Building in France

An explosion occurred in a 4-storey building in the port city of Marseille, France, at around 00:40 local time yesterday for an unknown reason, and 2 buildings collapsed completely.
In the statement made by the authorities, it was recorded that the lifeless bodies of 2 people who were under the rubble were reached.
It is estimated that at least 6 more people are under the rubble in the region where search and rescue efforts continue uninterruptedly.
200 PEOPLE DISCHARGED
Marseille Mayor Benoit Payan said in a statement about the search efforts supported by specially trained dogs, “There is still hope, we will not stop as long as there is hope.”
50 PEOPLE LEFT HOME
At least 200 people were evacuated from the area after two buildings collapsed in a row in Marseille. At least 50 homeless people sought emergency shelter. A help center has also been established in the region for people looking for their missing.
The treatment of 5 people who were slightly injured in the incident continues in the hospital where they were taken. While investigations into the cause of the accident continue, it is emphasized that the explosion may have occurred from a gas leak.
