Dangerous cooling off at Manavgat Waterfall
Some vacationers visiting the Manavgat Waterfall in Antalya jumped into the water and sat on the rocks despite the signs that read “It is dangerous to swim and enter the water”.
When water storage was made for electricity generation at the Manavgat Dam, the level of water flowing from the waterfall decreased.
With the decrease in the water level in the waterfall, which is visited by hundreds of local and foreign vacationers every day, rocks became visible in some areas.
It was seen that some visitors entered the water despite the signs written “It is dangerous to enter the water and swim in this area”.
Those who jumped into the water from the rocks where the waterfall flowed swam without paying attention to the danger.
